Born to a single mother in Pacoima, California, Lota Hadley, started at Paramount Studios before joining MGM Studios and ultimately Warner Bros. Studios where she was based for twenty-seven years. Lota worked in production and post-production over that time before starting her own production and management company (which was also based at Warner Bros. Studios.) The company handled clients like Sonny Landham (Predator, 48 Hours), Director Michael Winner (Death Wish, The Mechanic) Jamie Dukes (former NFL player with the NFL Network), Jacqueline Moore (with the WWE) and several other prominent film and music personalities…
Ethan Dettenmaier (born Los Angeles, 1972) started in the Courier Department at Warner Bros. Studio before working his way into Feature Development, where he worked for Producer Steven Reuther (Pretty Woman, Ghost and The Darkness) and then, Director John Milius (Conan The Barbarian, Red Dawn).
Jennifer has more than 20 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry, food and beverage leadership, catering, and event management. Advancing from operations to hotel management, her hospitality expertise is from work experience in a variety of Los Angeles hotels including Director of Catering at E-Central Hotel DTLA and opening team member of UCLA’s Luskin Conference Center, to USC’s Radisson Hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton, Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens, Hilton Worldwide Hotels, and Kellogg West Conference Center & Hotel at Cal Poly Pomona.
Bret Lieberman brings over 20 years of experience working as a mild/moderate special education teacher specializing in working with young adults on the autism spectrum. Lieberman holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from California State Bakersfield and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from California State Northridge.
Fred Arnold is a 30-year leader, speaker, coach and mortgage professional in the real estate and mortgage banking industry. Fred and his team have closed over a billion dollars in loans while at the same time helping his company grow to one of the strongest in his region.
Kathy Gonzales worked in the entertainment industry for HBO for over 20+ years. Some of her accomplishments while at HBO were supporting productions such as Band of Brother in Paris France, on the beaches of Normandy, to the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen Colorado, plus many more.
As a graduate of Cal State University Northridge, Dennis had a 17-year career in the entertainment industry as a producer of independent feature films. At one point it became necessary to focus his attention on being the caregiver of both his parents until their passing in 2016.
Jeffrey L. Thompson is a media executive at Oracle Corporation who has participated in and led operational, digital marketing, global business development and strategic initiatives across core business functions within the Media, Entertainment and Technology sectors with companies to include The Walt Disney Company, IBM, Conde Nast Entertainment and VC-funded startups such as Shout Factory, RNN TV and Parrot Analytics.
Phil Lantis is the Arts and Events Manager for the City of Santa Clarita, where he oversees over one hundred City produced events a year including Concerts in the Park, Senses, the Cowboy Festival, and the Newhallywood Silent Film Festival. He also supervises the operations of an eighty-one-seat arts venue, the MAIN, in Old Town Newhall, and arts education, public art, art exhibits, and arts development programs.
Selina Thomas is a 12 year resident of Santa Clarita. As a busy mother of three daughters, CEO and Founder of 6 Degrees HR Consulting, host of a podcast on the SCV Signal she is an asset to the Santa Clarita International Film Festival. Ms. Thomas covered extensively on behalf of the Signal the world premiere of SCRUM at the Laemmle Theatre and at the North Carolina film festival.
