COMEDY PROGRAM

The Santa Clarita International Film Festival is thrilled to be offering comedy as part of the program. Held on the main stage on the Entertainment Plaza in the Westfield Valencia Town Center, come laugh as talented local comedians entertain the crowds with their latest work.

Jeff Frame brings a unique brand of personal storytelling and relatable insights into everyday situations, with a friendly demeanor and an every-man persona, it’s easy for audiences to quickly feel like they’ve known him for years. He is self-deprecating, honest & relatable while talking about kids and family, weight issues and why you should never have parrots as pets.

 

Jeff is the co-host of the Who Did It First Podcast.  He's been seen on season 5 of the FX show “You’re The Worst.” He's also been seen in the Amazing Johnathan documentary on Hulu.  

 

Jeff has won both the San Diego & Minneapolis satellites of the World Series of Comedy & made the Final 9, out of over 400 entrants, at the national competition in Las Vegas. 

In addition to being a comic he is also the director and producer of the Comedy documentary “Bert Kreischer: I Am The Machine.”

Rodney Allen Rippy

Rodney Allen Rippy began his career at the tender age of 3 1/2. Rodney's first audition landed him the spokesman role with the fast-food chain, Jack in The Box. Rodney went on to work with some of Hollywood's greats like Sammy Davis Jr, George Burns, and Mel Brooks, while extending to the new generation of industry movers and shakers like Adam Sandler and David Spade.

 

Rodney remains active over 50 years later and is currently the Co-Executive Producer of the Country Soul Music Awards. Rodney has his sights set on directing his first, full-length feature film The Leather Mechanic.

 

As expected, Rodney Allen Rippy's experience in the world of entertainment and media has landed him his current position as the Executive Studio Unit Manager at 2526 STUDIOS in the heart of Burbank California's Media District.
