The Invitation is the story of a grieving man named Matt. He tries to push through the drudgery and brain fog of another morning by forcing himself to check off items on a to do list. Tasks include; taking his new pills, choosing happiness and getting out of his apartment for a change. He makes his way to a sunny park where he meets an effervescent stranger – Debbie. Conversation comes easy to them and they spend the day chatting like old friends. As evening falls, she insists that he walk her home and even invites him in. Overwhelmed, he hesitates. Matt watches her enter the building and as the light in her window comes on, he gathers his courage and decides to follow. Finding the door to her apartment ajar, he cautiously enters to find the place eerily familiar. Now, sinister, Debbie emerges from the shadows and offers him a dark invitation that leaves Matt with an even darker decision to make...

The story follows the upcoming nuptials of a Chinese American professional dominatrix, Kim Ye who is about to get married to her past client, Brian Bardos. Kim’s generational trauma of having to be the “perfect Chinese girl” makes her doubt her perfect union with Brian. She questions if she should be apart of the status quo by becoming a wife? Will she lose herself by becoming apart of the wedded? Will she turnout out like her divorced parents?

The United States is about to give up on crime infested Wing City and about to enforce martial law, but two hot headed siblings will enforce justice on their own accord before that happens. Those two siblings are Kane Bridges and Sasha Bridges, African American police officers of the Wing City Police department WCPD. Kane Bridges is framed for the death of a millionaire and owner of the Full moon Hill Club, Jason Fields. Kane finds himself covered in Jason’s blood during a setup. Sasha Bridges investigates the death to clear her brother's name. The death caused an unusual uproar over the country and the United States sent a last ditch effort before they had to call martial law on the crime infested city, a S.W.A.N is sent. S.W.A.N is a small group of investigators with special skills that solve A class crime all around the world. They send a S.W.A.N Private Investigator Wong. Wong’s methods break every law in the book to give results, as the Captain Chuck Star of WCPD believes Wong's methods are bad for the city and constantly are tense with him. Sasha and Kane dive deeper into Jason Fields' life and find themselves unraveling the increased crime in the city to a group called The Society that's infested every part of the city pores from political, financial, and even through ranks of WCPD. The Society is made up of billionaires and millionaires who wear white and hide their identity with masks to uphold sacrecy and an environment where the rich can spend their money any way they want with no repercussions. Kane leaves WCPD for good while Sasha gets promoted higher into the ranks to even become a S.W.A.N due to her methods. Sasha and Kane constantly disagree on what to do as both of their choices to save the city they love have dire and fatal repercussions in this horror Vigilante crime thriller.

Based on the report “Dress Coded: Black girls, bodies and bias in DC Schools” from the National Women’s Law Center, this documentary seeks to explore the impacts that strictly enforcing dress codes on Black girls over other races and genders. The harsh punishments were proven to lead to detrimental effects on the girls’ school performance, self-esteem and even the ability to find and maintain work as adults.

Ray Walker launched Stokes Foundation in 2011 and served as the organization’s founding Executive Director prior to taking a step back from the role to grow as a Development Officer, spending 6+ years reinforcing his Fundraising and Development toolbox by working in the top-flight Advancement Offices at Deerfield Academy, as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, and Cardinal Hayes High School as the school’s Director of Alumni Engagement and Development.

Ray lives and works full-time from his home office in Marlboro, New York with his wonderful partner and Stokes Foundation Trustee, Ms. Cindy M. Perez (see Ms. Perez’ full bio below) and their inquisitive toddler son, the youngest of Ray’s three remarkable children, the elder two of whom grew up in an Urban Boarding School setting themselves as faculty kids living in the Director’s Residence within the dormitory at Bishop Loughlin.

Dr. Jerry P. Abraham serves as an advocate for equal access to public health and healthcare for all people across Los Angeles. Throughout his time working as the Director & Chief Vaccinologist of Kedren Vaccines + Kedren Mobile, he has fought for several minority groups' right to reliable and nondiscriminatory treatment including advocacy for Black, LatinX, Asian/Pacific Islander, American Indian-Native Alaskan, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Through a mixture of avid social activism, dedicated community outreach, and an extensive history of medical experience, Dr. Abraham has spent his career working to innovate and democratize healthcare delivery in order to put patients first and to break down institutional barriers that keep underserved groups from receiving care.
