Bernice Ye.png

Born and raised in China, Bernice Ye came to the US by herself to pursue a a Masters Degree in Computer Science, before catching the stand-up bug. She has since performed in the New York Comedy Festival, San Diego Comedy Festival, and Crazy Woke Asians, just to name a few. Bernice went all in on comedy in 2021, giving up a 15-year career in the tech industry and moving to Los Angeles to pursue her stand-up dreams.

A small town kid, growing up to live and work in the heart of Los Angeles. Bryan Burris has performed all over the country and is a regular at the World Famous Comedy Store and the San Francisco Punchline.

Host of the "Mondays are Dope" podcast, Damon Monday recently expanded the brand to include the "Mondays are Dope" comedy show at the No future Cafe in Pasadena. Damon also runs sound and performs regularly on all Cosmic Comedy and Hemperors Comedy shows.

Few comedians are more well traveled than Dr. Laura Hayden. With a PhD to her name, Dr. Hayden is an expert on therapeutic laughter. She has performed and given talks all over the world for other physical therapists and caregivers, offering tips and humor to help combat burnout. Chances are you have seen a “Mike McKernan is not funny” bumper sticker somewhere around Los Angeles. That’s the irony, folks. The man is very funny and after one of Mikey’s shows you will undoubtedly find yourself saying, “Boo Haa” to yourself at some point the next day. I know it sounds crazy, but just wait.

Since 2014 Bakersfield’s Tyson Paul has been building one of the hottest comedy brands in all of California. “We Own The Laughs” not only covers the pulse of the comedy community daily, they also regularly host shows at the Haha Cafe in North Hollywood, Tommy T’s Comedy Club in Pleasanton, and the Punchline Sacramento.

A published author and Creative Writing and Literature Professor at USC, it’s a wonder how Amy Silverberg still has time to have her stand-up comedy featured on Comedy Central, Hulu, NPR and Amazon Prime. She was also selected as a “New Face” at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

A frequent guest on “The Bob and Tom Show”, Auggie Smith has been touring steadily and headlining across the country forever twenty-five years. He has appeared on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham”, and in 2010 became the first comic to win both the San Francisco and Seattle Comedy Competitions in the same year. Auggie and his family now live here in Santa Clarita.

A native Angeleno and host of HBO’s ‘Entre Nos’ comedy show and the “Please Remain Calm” podcast, Ben Gonzalez also hosts and produces, “The Goonie’s Show” at West Side Comedy Theater in Santa Monica. A major, major upgrade from the dive bar on Lincoln Boulevard where the show first started.

A favorite act on multiple cruise ship lines, Chris Strait released separate DryBar and Funny Media Group specials in 2022. He also once performed in a dive bar, while an episode of TruTV’s “World’s Dumbest”, that he was providing commentary on, played on the TV screens, as he was on stage. He asked them before the show to turn the TV’s off. They didn’t.

Like many Brits, Cole Parker has yet to acclimate to saying, “God Save the King”. It’s honestly a miracle we were able to book the former Queen’s favorite son (RIP). Cole has starred in movies and performed all over the world, including 48 weeks of cruise ship gigs just last year. Somehow we got him. Don’t miss him, for he will leave again soon.

Beyond being a former World Series of Comedy finalist, Jeff Frame also produced and directed the comedy documentary, “Bert Kreischer: I Am The Machine”. You can catch him every Tuesday co-hosting the comedy show at Pocock Brewery in Santa Clarita.

Known for his clean and clever style of comedy, Steve Mazan won an Emmy for his working writing on "The Ellen Degeneres Show", but even more impressive, he was never directly verbally abused by Ellen herself. A rare feat for anyone on that staff. He has also performed stand up on "The Late Show w/ David Letterman".

Oftentimes people look at a successful enterprises and think, “Who’s the person making all this magic happen? And the answer is… Susie Sitcom. While she doesn’t have her own show yet, Susie does hold the Guinness Book of World Record for most comedy specials produced in a calendar year for Funny Media Group in 2022.
